Jogyata's Stories About Subarata
Some years ago I wrote a little book of 47 short light-hearted stories called 'In the Boat' – these few anecdotes about Subarata are drawn from that collection.
I call Sri Chinmoy 'Guru' in these tales – Guru is a Sanskrit word meaning 'he who illumines' and is both more intimate and personal than the formal 'Sri Chinmoy'. Besides, in my twenty five privileged years with this wonderful global teacher and spiritual Master, I have undergone such a personal transformation that I feel enormously blessed to be 'in the boat', and honoured to call this great guide my 'Guru'. – Jogyata.
